About Compass @ Shambala Festival
Compass has been making its annual pilgrimage to Shambala Festival since 2009, bringing with it an eclectic mix of music, performance and wonderfully unexpected entertainment.
This year marked the beginning of a new chapter with the introduction of the Spiegeltent, Compass’ new travelling circus home.
The new space brought even more spectacle to the festival, with kids’ cabaret and family rave-ups alongside aerial circus performers swooping overhead, genre-defying live bands and DJs keeping the tent moving into the night.
Equal parts circus, cabaret, dancefloor and festival hideaway, the Spiegeltent builds on everything that has made Compass a fixture at Shambala for more than 15 years, creating a space where different generations, genres and forms of performance can come together under one roof.

Since 2015, Spartan has been proud to provide the technical production and support that keeps the Compass Stage doing what it does best.
Over the years, it’s grown bigger, better, and wonderfully weirder, and we’ve loved being part of the journey every step of the way.
It’s always a highlight in the Spartan calendar, and one we look forward to year after year.
