The Result
The client expressed high satisfaction with the completed installation, which was notably utilised for the first time during the visit of the President of South Africa.
The solution was so well-received that they made the decision to expand the deployment by extending Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) functionality into their meeting pods. This additional rollout ensures a consistent, high-quality user experience across both large and small meeting spaces, supporting greater flexibility and productivity throughout the organisation.
The Brief for CCR Energy:
The client was refurbishing their offices to better suit their current needs, but the existing AV and meeting systems were outdated, unreliable, and difficult to use. They no longer met the team's expectations or supported effective collaboration.
The client approached us to upgrade their on-site meeting space hardware, which included a boardroom, a meeting room, and two meeting pods. We recommended deploying Microsoft Teams Room (MTR) compatible hardware to get them started with MTR accounts.
The Challenge
In addition to the meeting systems, we were tasked with delivering a comprehensive AV presentation and seminar room solution for their main office space. The design needed to accommodate a flexible room setup, as a divider allows the room to be used either combined or separately.
The Solution Delivered
We provided a Yealink, an all-in-one video conferencing solution designed for huddle rooms and small conference spaces, featuring a meeting bar, wireless tabletop microphones, and the Yealink VCH51 Sharing Box to support Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) functionality.
The smaller meeting room and pods were equipped with 43” Newline displays, while the larger meeting room and event space featured the Optoma 3862RK 86" 4K Interactive Flat Panel Displays.
The larger meeting room was equipped with an Audac speaker system, while the event space was powered by a Powersoft Mezzo 322A amplifier and featured rechargeable wireless headset microphones as well as an Android panel PC control tablet.
Video control is managed by a Blustream CMX44CS Contractor 4x4 4K 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 matrix, while audio is handled by an Allen & Heath AHM-16 16x16 Audio Matrix Processor.
